November 2, 20222 yr Author @1587845594340524032 A few upcoming dates, but yeah I missed them this tour myself.
November 3, 20222 yr Not as huge on this as their last album, but it's still good! Seeing them tonight and can't wait!
November 8, 20222 yr the show was really good... you can see their really leaning toward their 'hothouse' sound again. not sure why they performed 'insomniatic' either
January 25, 20232 yr Author I received an email to purchase merch for their new album (3 variations of Vinyls, Carrying Cases ect.) but I have no idea when the album actually comes out. Just says it ships sometime in August.
February 8, 20232 yr Author @1623391839062732800 3/3 for the prereleases for me. Very excited for this! A Touch Of The Beat… is in my Top 5 Albums of all times, I’m excited they’re continuing this sound.
March 26, 20232 yr Author I've had some time to sit with the album a bit longer. It unfortunately doesn't meet the heights that 'a touch...' delivered, but it's a very solid cohesive album. For me it leaned a bit more in a country direction, especially at the beginning of the album. Highlights for me: pretty much the entire album.. but I will admit 'Blue Dress' and 'Way Of Nature Way Of Grace' aren't instant favourites of mine. Everything else is great, apart from the singles/pre-releases my instant favourites are 'Open To Something...' 'Sunchoke' and Tear The Night Up'. Solid delivery, a bit short. July 2, 20232 yr I saw them live at BST Hyde Park yesterday and they were an absolute revelation - I listened to the album in March and liked it but I do need to go back to it because I think it contains a lot of growers. Such blissful sunshine pop, I really got Fleetwood Mac vibes from a lot of their set. They seemed so chilled and grateful to be playing there despite the quite small crowd as they were tucked away on a smaller stage. This meant I got right to the front though so I loved the opportunity to do that. The songs from the previous album they played were especially good, and the finale of Potential Break Up Song was incredible - one of my favourite songs of 2007 but I definitely never expected to ever see it live! Such an anthem that was underrated in the UK charts.
