Haven't heard this yet but amazed this is looking to be only her 4th #1 album here as I'd assume she had more than that for some reason. Surprised looking back that I'm Not Dead and The Truth About Love didn't get there when H2BH did really.

Also I'm Not Dead is far more memorable than Massive Attack and Morrisey's who beat it back then too.

I'll get round to listening to this next week though but the singles so far have been picked correctly!

It's doing well on Apple Music/Amazon too. It should debut in the top 100 in the upcoming chart - hoping top 75 or higher!

She did this live performance for BBC Radio 2 as well which I think helped it:

It's gotten over 100k views which is good. Hopefully a good chunk of those are from the UK and will go towards its streaming numbers for this week!

It would be great to see her having 3 songs in the top 75 this week.

Second listen done and it was just as good as the first one.

Pink had a lot of bad luck with albums in terms of no.1s. M!ssundaztood never managed to make it (though it was very almost the biggest seller of 2002) and by the time I’m Not Dead was released, she had been away for a few years after a lukewarm reception to Try This and of course it was kicked off with Stupid Girls which was big but not huge. Back then though, your album would sell consistently for a year to 18 months.

With TTAL, she went up against the Killers and that’s really the only reason she didn’t make it.

It’s been much easier for her with the last couple of albums because she’s become such a big name.

First listen done and I enjoyed it!

Hate Me and Runaway didn’t actually stand out the most on first listens (Hate Me is actually the most P!nk by numbers tracks I’d say and Runaway is a bit on the generic side).

My favourites on first listen what I hadn’t heard pre album were Kids in love and Turbulence but When I Get There is stunning! What a stunning opener  I’m quite impressed by this though I’ll be listening again! Here’s hoping it’s an easy 4th UK #1 for her

Had my first listen just now...the run from When I Get There to Turblulence is chef's kiss 💙💙 I also loved Kids In Love, Hate Me and Feel Something. Just Say I'm Sorry and Runaway are growers I feel but added to my playlist anyway. Some I didnt click with on first listen and to me thats a lot of the slower tracks, to me they feel more P!nk by numbers. Never Gonna Not Dance Again still not clicking oops, i think its because I wish it was produced more vibey to go with message of song
Can someone please define ‘Pink by numbers’ for me? It’s been posted twice here referring to completely different types of songs.

To me in fhe past couple albums she has done a lot of slow songs and they just dont stand out as much, she has more interesting ballads in her discography imo thats what i meant

Never not gonna dance again takes time. I think it's clicking with more and more now.

I think Hate Me inpaticular is just a typical pop/rock with attitude kind of song what she’s typically done before on past albums. Not a bad song but I think it’s the most “typical” P!nk sounding track on the album so it didn’t really jump out to me on first listen as being a highlight.

I like Runaway, but it is not very P!nk, is it? It could be sung by any pop girl and would actually fit better on the new Ava Max album. :kink:

I wonder what the next single will be. Hate Me? She doesn't have many choices, IMO.

...I also loved Kids In Love...
Oh, a "Kids In Love" appreciation post! :o

I wanted to dislike "Hate Me" so much at first b'cause the chorus sounded like Ellie Goulding's song with the same title and Lovefool combined, but ended up becoming my 3rd/4th favorite song of the album.

I've had one listen so far and... I've not loved it. Haven't disliked it either, but it's really meh (although I enjoyed it more than the last couple of studio albums from her)

I like 'Runaway' though (although I'm Not Dead 'Runaway' > obvz). I'll give it another go or 2 before I fully decide, but yeah. It didn't hit for me.

The album is very solid for me. Never Gonna Not Dance Again and Trustfall are my two favourite P!nk singles since What About Us personally. Brilliant pop, both deserve to be huge hits.

When I Get There and Hate Me are also standouts for me, but also Last Call - not seen it mentioned much but it gives me Fleetwood Mac vibes.

The last few songs after Hate Me and the Lumineers collab stop it being a GREAT album for me, but I'm happy to take away eight songs I enjoy from it.

Looks like it’s entering the USA between 3-5 on 50k, deserves soooo much more.
Hopefully good news it's on its way with the uk midweeks later today.

She is indeed #1 in the UK midweeks.

24K sales so far and outselling #2 in the midweeks by 2:1

Already the fastest selling album of the year so far!

Great sales so far and also great to see that When I Get There looks like chatting too.

I’m sure that’ll be the third official single.
