Tracy Chapman has by far the deepest voice. She sounds like a man

Who?

I was talking about the singers of today, 2000 to 2006 if you get what i mean :P

You've never heard of Tracy Chapman  :o

She is one of the greatest female singers ever -_-

Anastacia would have the most manly (opps I mean deepest :kink:) voice of today probebly -_-

Tracy Chapman

Nina Simone

Amy Winehouse

Shirley Bassey

Diamanda Galas.... She is someone that I actually find genuinely disturbing and frightening.....

Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy singer) - She does growly Death Metal vocals as good as any bloke you can think of....

Diamanda Galas - she did an album with Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones "The Sporting Life" (mid 1990s) that was challenging to listen to.

I remember going round a friends house who's attitude was "Well you like PJ Harvey & Kate Bush... well listen to this...."

Of well known singers I would have to say Amy Winehouse.

All-time = Nina Simone.

Bever;ey Knight has an amazing range. Can go really low and really high!

That's her being pretty commercial compared to some of the stuff I've heard of hers.... "Challenging" just aint the word.....

I think it's Anastacia.

grace jones goes low, also melenie blatt (all saints) 'bootie call' is incredibly low...
