An arguement is not something you can win because that would mean you would change the opinion of someone which is quite impossible, I can see why Grimly dislikes Paris, but has refused to give her or her music a chance, yeah she came into fame the easy way, but if I was her, sh!t I'd have done the same thing.

Absolutely correct... Manufactured Muzak bears no resemblance to true Pop.... 'True Pop' as it exists in the modern context is stuff like Madonna, Goldfrapp, Kaiser Chiefs, Hard Fi, Arctic Monkeys, Keane, Morrissey, Bjork, Snow Patrol.... Most of these are falsely labeled "Indie", "Alternative", etc.... Dunno how you can refer to a band who sell over a million and a half albums in one territory (ie, Snow Patrol...) as being "alternative" anyway.....

 

Pop has become a dirty word because of manufactured rubbish like Hilton, Girls Aloud, Westlife, Crazy fukkin' Frog and all the other drivel.... Time to reclaim it I reckon and give it meaning again..... Consign these worthless acts to the ignominy of being referred to as "Muzak".....
