Posted November 27, 20222 yr So here it is, 6 years on from their encounter at Euro 2016, once again Wales and England face each other this time at the World Cup. Wales needing a minor miracle by them needing to win by four goals to have any chance of progressing and hoping results go their way in the Iran v USA game. England will looking to bounce back after their customary drab 0-0 draw at a major tournament. How do you see this match going?
November 27, 20222 yr Wales need to win and big, England need not to lose. I suspect probably quite a cagey beginning and England end up picking them off on the counter. Suspect we will see a few changes for this game to freshen things up and leave the likes of Saka to the counter attack in the second half.
November 29, 20222 yr Author Expecting an England win, but wouldn't surprise me if it's close like the 2-1 in the group stage at Euro 2016,

That Iran vs USA game really could go either way, am tempted to watch that one instead of England vs Wales (which I can only see England winning).
November 29, 20222 yr Author England XI: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Henderson, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Kane, Rashford. Wales XI: Ward, N. Williams, Rodon, Mepham, Davies, Allen, Ampadu, Ramsey, Bale, Moore, James. Four changes made, Trippier out for Walker, Gareth's mate Maguire still in, Henderson in for Mount, Saka and Sterling benched and Harry Kane of course remains in the squad.
November 29, 20222 yr Author Feels like it doesn't matter who England have on the pitch Southgate will still tell them to pass it backwards
November 29, 20222 yr Author Pulisic's goal against Iran means (barring an equaliser from Iran) Wales must win by at least 4 goals to go through.
November 29, 20222 yr Author Awesome, brilliant from Marcus Rashford, 3-0 to England. According to Guy Mowbray, England's 100th World Cup goal.
