Surprise! Out of nowhere, Metallica just dropped their first proper new music since 2016's 'Hardwired... to Self-Destruct' with new single 'Lux Æterna' and it sounds really bloody good on first listen!

 

New album '72 Seasons' is out on April 14th next year.

 

Second single 'Screaming Suicide' is out today, fairly standard Metallica fare but it sounds decent and there's a nice guitar solo.

 

'If Darkness Had a Son' is the next single - out sometime today!

Meh, probably my least favourite of the 3 unfortunately.
