The fourth second round match sees England take on Senegal at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor. This will be the first time that these sides have played.

How do you see this one going?

I think England will have enough. Senegal have a poor defence and conceded in all 3 group games. They could nick a goal though but I expect England will largely dominate possession and find a way through via a set piece.

Rashford must start and I'd pick Foden over Mount too. I'd also start Trippier ahead of Walker and save the latter for a potential QF meeting with France where we'll need his pace to combat Mbappe.

Defender Ben White has left England's World Cup squad in Qatar to return home for personal reasons.

The Arsenal player is not expected to return for the remainder of the tournament, England said in a statement.

"We ask that the player's privacy is respected at this moment in time," it added.

Apparently Senegal are facing a fine, they are been investigated by FIFA over something.

I think it will be a close game, could be a similar game to when we played Colombia in 2018..

There is always the concerns with an England game being exclusively live on ITV and hoodoos etc , but Columbia were knocked out on pens at last World Cup on ITV .

Sterling is out for personal issues too. I hope that it is not too serious.

England XI: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw; Henderson, Rice, Bellingham; Saka, Kane, Foden.

Subs: Grealish, Rashford, Trippier, Pope, Phillips, Dier, Coady, Alexander-Arnold, Mount, Ramsdale, Wilson, Maddison, Gallagher.

Senegal XI: Mendy; Sabaly, Koulibaly, Diallo, Jakobs; Ciss, Mendy; Diatta, I. Ndiaye, I. Sarr; Dia.

Subs: Seny, Gomis, Formose, Cisse, M. Ndiaye, Toure, P. Gueye, P.M. Sarr, Name, Loum, Bamba, Famara, Jackson.

James Maddison still not in the starting line up. For all the discussion about whether he would make the England squad prior to the tournament it could realistically be the case that he doesn't even get to kick a football at this World Cup.

A huge let off for England as Ismaïla Sarr comes desperately close to taking the lead for Senegal... So far it's been drab.
