June 2, 20232 yr Hearing in Colour is AMAZING, a SEB classic in the making methinks *.* Broken Toy and He's a Dreamer are the other big highlights from my few listens to far. June 2, 20232 yr Agree, this is actually a solid album! I can see myself really getting into it with repeated listens. My standout tracks from first listen are 'Tokyo', 'Beyond The Universe', 'He's A Dreamer' and 'Hearing In Colour'. And obviously 'Breaking The Circle' which is my favourite Sophie single in forever :wub:
June 2, 20232 yr Author I must say 'Lost in the Sunshine' has grown on me a bit, it makes me think of sitting in a field on a hot summer's day with a jug of Pimms. Other than that, 'Hearing in Colour' stood out and I appreciated the last song (We've Been Watching You) for being a bit out there and left-of-the-centre. I found this a bit of a chore to get through though, I can't lie :(

June 5, 20232 yr I thought it was a solid album too, I could hear shades of Read My Lips' mellower moments in some of the songs. I think Breaking The Circle was a wise lead, still liking that a lot. Hearing In Colour, We've Been Watching You, Reflections and Until The Wheels Fall Off were the others that stood out to me on first listen. It definitely wasn't the album I expected her to release after the rapturous reception to her Kitchen Discos though, I really thought Hypnotized (which isn't even on here) would be the style of this release before we heard the actual lead single.
June 5, 20232 yr I listened to it while walking today and on the first listen I thought it was a little bland, but I started coming around to it on the second listen. Feels like a grower.
June 10, 20232 yr So its official position is number 8 on sales of 6,015. The album strangely didnt even make the top 100 here in Ireland :( :o
September 16, 20231 yr Sophie is set to feature on Robbie Williams' EDM group Lufthaus' debut album 'Visions Volume 1', out on October 6. Her track is titled 'Immortal'.
