The Police were hugely successful with singles like, Can’t stand losing you, Roxanne, Message in a bottle, Walking on the moon, Don’t stand so close to me, Every little thing she does as magic and Every breath you take. 6 No,1 albums and 5 no. 1 singles they split up in 1983 at the top.

 

I liked the Police but to be honest since they split up I’ve not been a fan of Sting’s solo stuff at all.

Liked the Police and I've got a couple of Sting's solo albums but wouldn't call myself a huge fan.

i liked their first few tracks, i have 'outlandos d'amour' they were inivotive mixing reggae with rock.. fav track is 'bed too big without you'.

 

but 'walking on the moon' onwards was pretty lame imho.
