Good song writing band from the US, formed in 1972 and broke up in 1981. Songs included Do it again, FM, Rikki don’t lose that number, Haitian divorce.

 

Anyone remember them?

rather bland american AOR outfit, typical post-hippie stuff..

 

 

does the fact that they were named after a steam powered dildo give them a % of controversy :lol:

 

btw if you like Steely Dan, Morph the Cat supposed to be one of the albums of the year in that kinda field (probs the word or mojo talkin here ???)

I always think of them as a US version of 10cc.

 

= A very clever, clever muso sort of band that critics liked and the public were a bit less keen on.

 

My fav tracks by them were My Old School, Haitian Divorce, Deacon Blues & Peg.
