Just finished watching the extended highlights now - what a game! France really looked out of it but came back superbly, no-one can deny though that Argentina taking the win is really a great end to Messi's world cup career (and the first World Cup I've seen without a European winner!)

According to commentary, the only reason the Argentine President wasn't in attendance was due to the fact it was perceived to bring bad luck.
