According to a newspaper from Quebec and from Montreal, the new French album is titled "D'elles"! :wub:

 

It was earlier announced that the album would be released in Fall, but the release has been pushed up to May.. May 21st, 2007 to be exact. The album will contain 12 songs, all written by famous female (book) writers from Quebec & France and famous French composers are composing the music for the album, whereas J.J. Goldman is overseeing the whole album.

i doubt she'll come to the UK for the french album, but hopefully France again will be on her list!

What's wrong with a French album? She sings beautifully in French. :wub: (I may like it because I took French, so I can usually rough translate it to understand hehe)

I can't wait for a French album myself but not everyone is into it.

Celine Dion's New Album 'D'elles' - To Be Released in May 2007

 

 

Celine Dion is currently working on a new French-language album, which is scheduled to be released in France and other French speaking countries in May 2007.

 

This new album is a concept project in that all the song lyrics have been written by female writers from France and Quebec. There are many collaborators: Françoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein, Janette Bertrand... The themes throughout this album, titled 'D'elles,' centre around 'Woman.'

 

Many of Celine's long-time friends and collaborators, including Jean-Jacques Goldman, participated in this project. Although Goldman did not write any of the songs for this album, he supervised the project and arranged the song lyrics.

 

Music composers include Jacques Veneruso, David Gategno, Erick Benzi and Gildas Arzel.

 

The first single "S'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-là)," written by Françoise Dorin, will be released on February 14 in France.
