on last night on bbc2 was the story of light entertainment all about radio

 

featuring Kenny Everett , Pete Murray, Simon Dee, Emperor Rosko, Jimmy Savill and Dave Lee Travis

 

as well as pirate stations such as Radio Luxemboug, Radio Caroline etc and the birth of radio 1

 

did anyone listen to these pirate radio stations or people in this period of time (1960s/1970s/1980s)???

i used to listen to caroline,north sea and luxembourg in the 70's, but i was young i didn't know any better, :lol:
