TikTok today reminded me of the bizarre existence of a Busted cover of a German song that was a top 20 hit for them in Germany in 2003:

 

 

They kept the chorus in German but changed the verses to English. It didn't get a UK single release, naturally, but I believe it was subsequently used as the b-side to Crashed The Wedding, which my sister bought at the time, so I heard it back then and haven't thought about it since, until today.

News to me they did a German song. Will check that out soon.

My comment originally from February - On two sides with this. The verse aren't that great in English but the chorus in German is okay.

 

Comment listening again now and it sounds better now. A few bits I'm still not crazy on but overall quite a catchy track. The beginning gives me those indie landfill meets Sum 41 feels tbh which is no bad thing at all!
