I'm sure we've posted 1000 new posts quicker than on CC. We started there with over 800 posts from the Pop Forum threads that were transferred.

Poor kid...... it could only happen to Darius! He must have been mortified and really thought he'd blown his chances but he carried on like a trouper and as we know now, slotted immediately into 3rd place, only ever slipping to 4th once, in ABBA week.

I was chucked off for nearly 2 hours last night but when I came back on there were new posts in this forum.

 

I didn't know where to post/moan and I didn't want to start a new thread so I thought this one would do.

 

Is it a case that the site can only have so many people on at a time and when the quota's reached people only get back in when someone logs off?

 

Is there a difference in what's happening if you get the sql error or the page cannot be found? I had both several times in quick succession when I was struggling to get back.

I frequently get both.

 

I tend to think it's due to the amount of people on the site.

 

It definitely seems to be similar times of day/night for me.

 

Was there talk of the site moving to a new server?
