Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil and touring guitarist Mike Vennart (who was also the frontman of Oceansize in the 2000's) are launching a new band named 'Empire State Bast*rd'! There's no news on a debut single yet, but as they have live shows coming up later this month (with Slayer's Dave Lombardo on drums), I imagine it'll be coming fairly soon.
