I adore that picture, I have the magazine with it in brings back the memories, I still remember the excitement of first seeing Darius live, at Reading singing his new song "Colourblind"- seems an age ago now!

My guess about the first pic might be - talking about how tall he is? :D ... well he usually knocks a couple of inches off I reckon and I can see another couple hiding above his hands there ;) :D

 

edit: forgot to add that his drenching certainly didn't deter him - in fact just the opposite it became one of his party-pieces - I love his sense of humour and fun! ;)
