He was on stage at Butlins and things were just getting a bit lively. It wasn't me. I do like that kind of laugh though.

There's always one that we don't make that we really wish we had. There was no way of telling that the day would be so good.

 

At that time, not just for that one, I was still telling myself, it's only one gig, I'll go to the next one in a more accessible spot.

 

I actually think it was the videos from those shows which made me determined not to be so stupid again and ensure I saw this man live on stage as often as I could.

You should have seen the excitement when we found he was doing an extra accoustic gig. It's the accoustic ones I really like - him and a guitar. His voice is so good. There wasn't anyway any of us would know he was going to do that. I think a lot more would have tried to get there if we'd known.

I would have liked to have been at that one too - not because Darius did an acoustic set but because he did both an acoustic set and a rockier/full band gig as well - that's as close as it's come to my perfect Darius gig so far ;)

- If I had known what Darius was going to do there in advance, I still wouldn't have been able to go though - but I still wish I had been there :dance: - I'll just have to make do with the DVD of it instead - for which I'm very greatful to all involved in making it

 

PS - sorry for not posting a pic whilst I'm in this thread - I would have if I could have directly uploaded from the pc.

Everyone seems to titter if someone plays butlins but I was there and thought it was one of the best probably because of the acoustic set and the questions and answer set which we didnt know about beforehand. The evening was good also and remember all the fans down the front, what happened to Monica., she was one of them and clover.
