- 013 - Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On

When I heard this new song by the amazing Avril I had to release it and watch it shoot to #1 in late November.

One of her best and thankfully it won't be the lead single from her new album out next year.

I DONT NEED A MAN YEH! Best song this bints have ever done and will probably ever do. It shot to #2 and was held off #1 for 4 weeks straight by the almighty Evanescence. Love it - my Gramicuous Anthem.

The final Pipettes song on my chart. This is just wow - I could listen over and over and still be hooked. The single was beat to #1 by Lily Allen in July but was one of my favourite songs of Summer 2006 and sales on my chart of 345,000 copies prove that :kink:

Pussycat Dolls thier best song in my opinion, hated the song Dont Cha, and all that ballady $h!t that followed! but this was great by them

Pippettes, dont do alot for me, but still a great TUNEEEEEE :cheer:

Death to online stalkers, and the Guest is gone too :o

Not bad for a song that debuted at #18 and within 2 weeks was sitting at #1. I took a chance when I realised AFI had a new single out and downloaded it and fell in love with it. If you havent heard it yet I really sugeest you download it or listen to the video as even the people I've sent it too like Aylo & Jester like it

MCR made their explosive comeback in style this autumn with a #1 single and #2 album to boot. Following on from their top 10 hits on my chart 'I'm Not Okay' (#1), 'Helena' (#5), 'The Ghost Of You' (#9) they bounced back to spend 8 weeks in the top 10 with 'Welcome To The Black Parade'. I know they get a lot of stick but I truly love them.

I don't give a $h!t what you think about Lily Allen - the 3 singles + Alfie are pure genius. Loved the video to 'Smile' and the album on a whole is very impressive. This song's inclusion in my top 10 of 2006 wraps up a great year for Lily who also hit #3 with 'LDN' and #2 with 'Littlest Things'.

Dance with me pretty boy toniiiiiight. :cheer: I love it. :(

MCR -

And Lilly Allens singles have been great, but Smile is my least Fave by her

Now call me mad but this is my favourite GA single  It means a lot to me

It's their biggest single on my chart and also the biggest selling single of 2006 that didnt reach #1. WLH wouldve made the throne if it hadnt been for.....

The church

The Church is just putting people out now :( :kink:

The 2nd longest running #1 of 2006 for me with 6 weeks at the top in total - Chasing Cars is still in my top 50 now. I loved it from the start and was so pissed off when it only reached #15 but its amazing chart run on the official chart makes up for the poor start - one of the tunes of the year for me - so touching and perfect and easily Snow Patrol's best song to date.

Chasing Cars is just truly stunning in my Top 5 songs this year easy
