Taken as the 7th Single from Calvin's 3rd studio album "18 Months" this was a solid top 5 hit, eventually peaking at #4 in April 2013. It also had the 2nd longest chart run for a song off of that album, just behind "Drinking From The Bottle" with Tinie Tempah. As of June 2021 it is Calvin's 14th best-selling song (The 2nd best-selling song from 18 Months) and as of July 2020 it is Ellie's 6th best-selling song.

 

 

 

Outside (2014)

 

Sales | 1.16M+ (As Of March 2023)

 

Taken as the 4th Single from Calvin's 4th studio album "Motion", "Outside" did not have as high a peak as "I Need Your Love" and is their lowest peaking collaboration (Peaking at #6). However it is their best selling collaboration, outselling the latter by over 260K. It is also their longest running collaboration on the charts, accumulating a huge 32 weeks on the chart. It ranks at Calvin's 11th best-selling song and Ellie's 5th best-selling song.

 

 

 

Miracle (2023)

Released just over one week ago "Miracle" has proven to become Calvin and Ellie's highest charting collaboration, peaking at #3 so far. It sees a departure from their usual collab sound of EDM-Pop to more Trance-influenced production.

All three are fabulous of course but after a week already Miracle would be my 2nd place.

I Need Your Love is just a classic though and has my vote.

'I Need Your Love' is just a classic to me and I have so many happy memories of that time attached to it. 'Miracle' may overtake it in the longrun though, who knows?

 

I don't particularly like 'Outside', it grates on me.

I'm not as massive on the other two myself personally so 'Miracle' gets it despite being out only for a week but it really is THAT good too :P

Its Miracle for me. Outside and I Need Your Love are both bops but are slightly generic and are very much of their time.

1st = Miracle

2nd = I Need Your Love

3rd = Outside

Not really a fan of outside tbh. The new one is catchy but I need your love is my fave it’s such a bop.

too early to really tell but Miracle has certainly been the most instant so I’ll give that a vote for now.

out of the previous two INYL I always have preferred and I think it has aged better too.

This might be premature but going for 'Miracle'!

Well at least we all agree it's not 'Outside' :kink: (that having higher sales than 'I Need Your Love' is quite baffling, is that just because of the release date or is it really consistently more popular?)

 

I've only heard 'Miracle' once so far but I'm sticking with 'I Need Your Love' as my fave atm, I really loved that at the time, it did age a bit but I still have fond memories of it, I do like 'Miracle' but not sure it'll ever be quite on the same level.

It's one of the tracklists on KONAMI's Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (yes, I prefer PES to FIFA). Probably one of the best in-game playlists ever.

I desperately wanted a trance revival back then. The song fit my taste nowadays. I listen to trance twice more than big room house nowadays.

I'd say it is Both

 

Outside has about double the amount of streams as INYL on Spotify [828m vs. 423m]

however INYL outdoes it on YouTube [829m vs. 656m]

I Need Your Love is easily the weakest of the 3.

 

Oh we're not voting for least fave. Quite close between the other 2 but I'm going for Miracle as I can see myself playing it for longer.

I've gone for I Need Your Love but love all three of these!

Outside does appear to still be outperforming I Need Your Love on a daily basis now though, surprisingly.

This. Amy be recency bias but Miracle. The other two are fantastic still though.

Need your Love is among the WORST songs I have ever had thd misfortune of hearing!!! Banal, pointlwsa, atrocious lyrics that clash with the electronic beat and cut off abruptly for sais beat to suddenly take over... Absolute SHITE.

Not sure I’m going to choose anything other than I Need Your Love but it did get me wondering if there have been any album tracks by Ellie that were produced by Calvin in the past (albeit uncredited). Do we know if this is the case?
