In probably what could the most exciting relegation battle for years where any of about nine teams could go down, who do you think will be in the Championship next season?

For me, I think will be Nottingham Forest, Everton and Southampton who will go down.

It does look like 40 points will be needed to guarantee safety this year. Bournemouth are in really good form at the moment, think they will just be about OK. leicester look absolutely dead an buried and not sure Jesse Marsch is the answer..

Everton, Leicester and Southampton.

I am still standing by this statement, although I am becoming increasingly concerned about Nottingham Forest's form... I would like to think they could edge past Everton to survive but I am struggling to see it. Southampton are a certain relegation team, and I don't see Leicester's new manager making a difference in the next few weeks either.

Leicester certainly have the best run-in of all the teams in the fold and Nottingham Forest definitely have the hardest. I think they're almost nailed on now along with Southampton. Still backing Leeds to join them as their run-in is also hard and their defence is absolute wet toilet paper as we saw last night.

I said Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago but their recovery has been nothing short of remarkable. If O'Neill keeps one of the worst PL squads of all time in the division he's manager of the season for me (unless Arteta wins the league or Emery gets Villa into the top 4).

Chelsea is surely in this conversation too.
Nah 39 points will be more than enough this season (they need to thank Tuchel for getting them so many points at the start of the season). Might even see West Brom's record from 2005 of surviving with 34 points get broken!
Nottingham Forest, Southampton & Bournemouth

Bournemouth look like they will be safe now so at this moment in time I would swap them for Leeds and still keep Nottingham Forest and Southampton in the bottom 3.

I kind of hope Everton get relegated but I can imagine them being out of it by the end similar to last season.

Everything has gone against Leicester after today's results and with Forest currently winning against Southampton. Could this be the end for Leicester? for what they've achieved in the past 7-8 years it would be truly extraordinary. Southampton themselves could be mathematically relegated this coming weekend if they end up losing to Forest.
It would be a hilarious downturn in fortunes for Leicester after their fanbase got cocky after winning the league. Early 2000s Leeds like level of drop off!

Midlands teams like Leicester will always come and go, hard to sustain at the top full time!

Lol at a United fan saying other fans are cocky, why did they come across like that?

I’m shocked they are down at this level, wouldn’t have predicted that in august, seems a bit like the last Southampton team who just ran out of good signings eventually will happen to Brighton as well I suspect!

More people who voted in this poll at the time of this post thought that Nottingham Forest would be relegated than those who voted for Leicester. I’m still hoping that Leeds can pull a late surprise and send Everton packing, so I’ll be hoping that West Ham have an off day for that match later on. I can’t see Leicester moving above any other side but if Everton lose on the final day and Leicester win then it could happen maybe?
