Girls Aloud's spoof All Saints track

Virgin Net

It seems Girls Aloud aren't too impressed with their competition - and have recorded a spoof version of All Saints' track 'Never Ever' on their mobile phones.

The girl bands have been at war since All Saints launched their comeback earlier this year and called their rivals "stupid little girls".

Shaznay Lewis, Mel Blatt and Nicole and Natalie Appleton also said that the reality show winners copied their edgy pop sound.

However, All Saints haven't emulated the success of comeback group Take That and their album, 'Studio 1', landed in the charts at a sorry No 41.

Now Girls Aloud - Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - have made their own X-rated version of 'Never Ever', reports the Daily Star.

It says: "A few questions that we need to know/Is it because you needed the dough/We need to know why you came back/With such a blatant Girls Aloud track/Is it coz we've had more hits than the Supremes/You couldn't do that in your f****** dreams/Either way you're going out of your mind/Forever getting back together after all this time." Ouch...

Do you agree with the five-piece formed from a reality TV show originally managed by Louis Walsh, who do not write their own material (unlike the Ivor Novello/BRITs/MTV Europe award winning All Saints) and have done a string of awful cover versions of once great classics or not?

That's a leading question if ever I saw one

I think All Saints and Girls Aloud are as bad as each other tbh. Girls Aloud were petty for claiming All Saints have stolen the sound GA stole in the first place, and All Saints are petty for retaliating. If they didn't let their egos out of control they could've easily disregarded any remarks -_-

I can see where GA are coming from but there was no need for it really...All Saints should really hit back...we know that they can be bitches so they should come back with something good :cheer:

This is going to be Eamon vs. Frankee Girl Group Style? If Girls Aloud single gets a release and then All Saints make a comeback that also gets a release it would be funny.

All Saints are better than Girls Aloud imo.

Also where Girls Aloud sang the bit about the amount of hits, Girls Aloud may have had more but All Saints lowest chart peaking position is #7 (singles) compared to Girls Aloud #9. I know the latest All Saints album isn't doing too well but I'm basing this on All Saints when they were at their career peaks.

I don't care that much about this lil fight... I'm sure that a lot of it is made up by journalists...

Anyway AllSaints should shut up since GA and Sugababes are becoming the best friends ever lol That's too much to face for the 4 mums

I still say 'Rock Steady,' is much more like a Sugababes single than any Girls Aloud single.

Yeah, I think there's more of a similarity between Hole In The Head and Rocksteady than anything else

This is disgusting, I do love Girls Aloud but they really need to take a look in the mirror and realise that they're all in their mid-twenties now and that they need to grow up, this isn't a little school yard spat anymore.

You think All Saints care because Sugababes and Girls Aloud are friends? Oh dear...

Well, generally, I would say that All Saints have more musical talent than GA, but if we're gonna talk Cover Versions here, then AS's version of "Under The Bridge" was fukkin' criminal to any fan of RHCP who knew what the song was about and how deeply personal it was to Antony Kiedis.... AND, All Saints messed around with the lyrics as well, to a much greater and more insulting degree than GA did with the Kaiser's song.....

It is something I will never really forgive them for, "Under The Bridge" is probably one of my three favourite RHCP songs of all time....

And All Saints have never massacred someone else's songs have they?

I dont really give a toss about either though I agree the washed up old hags only came back to copy Take That and because their solo careers faded quicker than cum stains on my bedsheets.

"Is it coz we've had more hits than the Supremes"

Lets see if people remember Girls Aloud in 40 years time...

Also I think Girls Aloud need to remember who SOLD more, and of course who will live on as greats in the music industry. Oh I mean The Supremes by the way.
If you ever needed more reasons to hate those egotistical painted-to-the-walls slagbags :cheer:

You think All Saints care because Sugababes and Girls Aloud are friends? Oh dear...

LOL.

I mean that when you have an album that missed the top40 it can't make any good to be against the two bitish favourite girl bands.

Only Lily Allen can do it  lol

"Never Ever" is better than any song Girls Aloud have ever done. <_<
