So this is the person who represented the UK in Eurovision in 2000 and came 16th - the worst position for a UK act at the time - doing a cover version of Belle & The Devotions' long forgotten Love Games - which represented the UK in 1984 and came 7th (the 3rd worst for a UK act at the time).

Odd.

Her ‘Eurovision’ album came out today and is #36 on iTunes - Slay Queen :cheeseblock:

Ah... the odd cover version choice makes more sense now.

She's also done not-very-good versions of the brilliant One Step Further (Bardo 1982) and the not as good I'm Never Giving Up (Sweet Dreams 1983).

I know it’s probably like 12 sales but absolutely love that in 2023 Nicki French is sitting in the Top 25 of the iTunes album chart with her ‘Eurovision’ album

She was hosting the London Eurovision Party last night and plugged it a few times. I guess even if 1% of the audience downloaded it, it would get her an iTunes top 20.

But I agree, it's nice to see her name up there.
