I would like you to start with the 70s as that decade doesn't get much coverage on the forum.

My younger brother got Ernie for a christmas present 1971 (and I bought it in the 90's when it was a hit again  ). Still a fun record. New Seekers was my top record for early 1972, and American Pie is a classic, and also a hit again in the 90's. I just bought his latest new single this week, called American Boys. :)

John, which British entry is your least favourite from 1965-1985 period ?

My # 1 is Ireland (Sandie Jones - Ceol An Ghra), it was the only occasion in Eurovision history of the contest on which a song was performed on Gaelic language.

For that time period it would have to be Kenneth McKellar I think, but there were plenty of bad entries from the UK in the late 80's!

Outside of Eurovision Clannad did a lot of great Gaelic tracks, and Enya did some too I think.

Vincent is a classic, but oddly never topped my charts, oops! Leeds United had a reputation for having rough fans in later days, but I was very much Chelsea Blue Is The Colour in 1972, and Everton in the 60's, mainly cos I like the colour Blue and lived in Liverpool - you had to be red or blue there was no other option😄

This single is very far from my New Seekers' favorurites, but still good pop track.
