December 30, 200618 yr first its bongo bong, then it was she's madonna and now its the 80's does anyone actually know or is this all guess work?
December 30, 200618 yr This is incorrect :P The 80's should NOT be a single. Although I perfer it to She's Madonna, it is not single mateial at all and won't help the album much if you ask me. It is yet another rap song and clearly by now it's obvious alot of the public don't like him rapping. Same goes for the awful Bongo Bong -_- She's Madonna IS the next single. The video has obviously been made (yes the one where he dresses like a ladeeeeeeeee Twinkle :P ) and it's on the radio alot ^_^ It's exactly what he needs to release imo. It's the nearest thing to a ballad there is and has a sing-along chorus. It has been praised my most critics as well. A great original song with him singing normally is what he needs to release imo ^_^
December 30, 200618 yr
December 30, 200618 yr well anything but bongo bong really the 80's isnt a single type cause its too autobiographical imo, more then his usual songs. the genreal public wont care or like it as much shes madonna isnt my favourite but it should be a pretty good single
December 30, 200618 yr I think it will be She's Madonna tbh  Oh course it will be and although its not my fave, it's definatly the right single choice to boost album sales ^_^
December 30, 200618 yr I think that they can release as many singles as they like & it will make no difference at this stage to the Album sales - the only thing that might would be RW doing some Radio & TV shows to promote it & somehow I cannot see that happening. There is nothing like the personal touch to get an album off the ground. At this stage after such a long tour & hearing what he said on his vidoes on the RW site about writing new songs I think that Rudebox will run its natural course ( whatever that may be ) & then its move on for Robbie. By the way - What's a WUB    Is it of European origin :???: Edited December 30, 200618 yr by TessaT

April 3, 200718 yr WZgLxPV-X-Q Robbie Williams - The 80's Official video Apologises if this is posted or answered elsewhere. But I saw the UK TV premiere of this video on Channel 4 at 00:20 Hrs today. I do think the video perfectly matches the song and the young Robbie does have many of Robbie's mannerisms. I don't suppose you know if this is coming out as a single? As I said when the album was released this track replaces Better Man as my favourite Robbie song.
April 3, 200718 yr Yes, that is indeed a brilliant video. There was a short film competition organised for independent directors to make videos for various songs on Rudebox, CH4 showed them all a few months back and are now repeating them. Robbie himself chose the winners, the 80's won overall I think. Sadly I don't think it will be released, but watching it on TV does make it even more special, this track is better than anything in the top 10 right now if you ask me, but would probebl flop in the UK, so best to leave it as an amazing album track along with the likes of Better Man imo. ^_^
