Posted December 30, 200618 yr Well they're the BIG face of the electro-scene at the moment. APPARENTLY they have an album out 23rd Jan [meaning in the US] but rather interesting a new single here "The Bomb" released in February which should be FUN... Thus far I've found them very hit and miss. "Ice Cream" is a pile of over-rated rubbish. "The Get Go" on the other hand is wonderful. [Their remixes including the wonderful "Van She" and Ed Bangers' {:heart:} very own DJ Medhi] Add to the equation the fact they're a bunch of arrogant t**** I'm left with neither a love or a hate. Either way I see them doing something vaguely mainstream next year...
December 30, 200618 yr Been into them since the summer - 'Get Lucky' was great, and the extended version 'Get Dancey' even better. 'Ice Cream' was the first I heard and, yeah, I'm a little sick of it now...but it'll probably get a summer re-release (also cos it was used in an ad campaign recently) The 'new rave' scene or whatever you want to call it still has a year left at least, so expect them to be top 20 material this year (not top 10 cos they aren't four blokes going 'oh oh oh' - that's what you need to do to be big)
