December 30, 200618 yr Author 9. Lily Allen - LDN Highest UK Chart position: 6 Highest Personal Charts Position: 1 This year I went on a two week holiday in Norway. I was just in the back of the car, watching beautiful landscapes and this track from Lily Allen came on. It instantly gave me the perfect summer feeling and I don't think any other song did that as good as LDN has. 6-ejta2aB8E
December 30, 200618 yr Author Would you reccomend any of these Dutch acts? :o Most of them are Dutch hiphop that would probably never do well outside Holland. I think Ilse Delange will be liked the most around here. Her genre is a mix between a bit country, pop and rock. December 30, 200618 yr Author 8. Aly & AJ - Chemicals react Highest UK Chart Position: --- Highest Personal Charts Position: 4 Highest USA Chart Position: 50 This song isn't well known. It was only released in the USA. Aly & AJ are two girls (they're 15 and 17) that sing pop/rock in the style of Hilary Duff and Kelly Clarkson. I think the song has hit potential in the UK as well. I suggest you just listen to it and I'm sure you will understand why I like to listen to this. eYOYFZdDf0Q Edited December 30, 200618 yr by Knisper

December 30, 200618 yr Author 7. Editors - Munich Highest UK Chart Position: 10 Highest Personal Charts Position: 22 This one is actually a bit of cheating. Munich was orginally released in April 2005, but it was re-released in January 2006, which makes it legal for me to put it in my chart. One of the best indie tracks of the year and it has grown on me for the whole year. Everytime I hear it it's getting better. 5xRVm-JX5Rk
December 30, 200618 yr Lily Allen and Editors in the top 10 looks very promising for the rest of the top 10 :yahoo:
December 30, 200618 yr Author 6. Girls Aloud - Something kinda oooh Highest UK Chart Position: 4 Highest Personal Charts Position: 1 I was afraid that the girls had lost it. I didn't like See the day, Whole lotta history and Long hot summer. But I was so happy when this was released, it made me dancing again. Now I'm a fan all over again. The video clip is not really good though, but that doesn't matter if you have a great song. UqFouvUbGpo Edited December 30, 200618 yr by Knisper
December 30, 200618 yr Author 5. Aly & AJ - Rush Highest UK Chart Position: --- Highest Personal Charts Position: 6 Highest USA Chart Position: 59 The only artist that is in the top 10 with two songs. Aly & AJ are my discovery of the year. I don't know if they will have a long career in music, but they do got the right producers and there songs are great. This one is even better than 'Chemicals react' and it has written 'hit' all over it. Watch it!! I'm sure you'll love it! MGkf80Um0Fw Edited December 30, 200618 yr by Knisper
December 31, 200618 yr Author 4. Graham Coxon - Standing on my own again Highest UK Chart Position: 20 Highest Personal Charts Position: --- The only song in my top 10 that never reached my personal chart. It's has grown on me all through the year. I heard in on Top of the Pops this year for the first time. The song is just very catchy, I love it. nk6v6JYZ_OA
December 31, 200618 yr Author 3. Arctic Monkeys - When the sun goes down Highest UK Chart Position: 1 Highest Personal Charts Position: 1 This song has got to have the best intro ever. My feet are tapping along every time I hear it. This song is good, that I was sure it would be number one of the year already back in january. Well, there were still two better songs than this, but I can tell you that it was hard to decide which one was best. WqlEhEf8hLI
December 31, 200618 yr love it! hey which link(url) do you put here 4 the youtube videos?????? Edited December 31, 200618 yr by Boyan
December 31, 200618 yr Author 2. Nerina Pallot - Everybody's gone to war Highest UK Chart Position: 14 Highest Personal Charts Position: 3 This song is currently still in my personal chart. With 31 weeks on the chart I think you can guess that I like this song. The guitar, the vocals, the lyrics, everything about this song is perfect. I hope that Nerina can even achieve more success in 2007, she deserves it. 9F3JH-e2zs4 One song to go, who will be number 1??
