They have to be guilty of some of the charges surely even a 10 point deduction should stop them but it’s anticipated they’ll get a lot worse

Suppose that will all depend if they are found guilty which isn’t guaranteed. We should then have asterisk against Forests promotion in the last few years I guess. I know it not the same charges but they got points deducted!

If they’re not guilty then why have they stopped filing their accounts and being compliant? Let’s not forget they’ve already been found guilty by UEFA and got off on a complete technicality. And their current tactic of just throwing money at the problem to delay everything hoping the Premier League run out of cash to fight the charges just shows their hand.

It’s a bit like the Haaland fee. The reality is the cost is likely 3x what the published figures show to the media.

Pep has strongly hinted he'll leave City at the end of next season (fingers crossed lol). 5 in a row would be a fitting note to leave on, imagine he probably wants another CL as the priority.

Hopefully he does go as there's not really anything left for him to accomplish now, unless he wants to emulate Sir Alex Ferguson but that would require him staying at the club for more than 20 years and surely he wont do that.

And if anyone did want evidence that City were guilty, their attempts to counter sue to the Premier League guarantee whatever they are doing is not above board..

Brighton have appointed 31 year old Fabian Hurzeler as their new manager making him the youngest full time manager in Premier League history.
He's actually younger than the captain and a number of other players in the Brighton squad. This is a recipe for disaster in my opinion.

Hürzeler may be young but he has a decent amount of experience and has just got St Pauli back in to the Bundesliga for only the third time in their history. One the first two occasions, they went straight back down which is an indication of their general level.

Tony Bloom has a very good record of picking out managers. I’m. Sure his team have been keeping an eye on Hürzeler for some time.
