:D It's in the song thread. I've been trying to work it out!

Just found it......and deleted it....DOH

One poll? The longest journey begins with a short step. :cheer:

Take a deep breath and go for double.

You've got a lot of catching up to do!

I think I've done 3 now - but just one a day is enough ...

New song of the day ...

Don't forget to Breathe

Then, I can take on your PI covers ;)

Ah but there's no vote yet. It's just a time for people to remember what they felt when they heard Darius sing them then and a chance to take another listen and share anything one wants to say about choice of song, how he sang them, what songs he should have tackled in the particular theme.............in short get the whole PI bit off the chest.

Do you think we should ask people to rate them in the same thread as the discussion thread or start a new one just for the rate?

The joint thread seemed like a good idea at the time but it's kind of mushroomed.

Tonight on BBC3 then repeated later on BBC2 is the Manchester Passion, the story of Jesus told around the streets of Manchester with songs by The Smiths, Oasis, Inspiral Carpets Joy Division and other Mancunian artists.

It got me thinking that there could be a Glasgow Passion and if so, there is a song that our Glasgow Man could sing He could play the part of St Peter, wounded by having to deny his Lord three times. He would then sing

If I could

Imagine it .... and I challenge you not to have a lump in your throat The one I have right now is choking me

Darius.............. St Peter...................If I Could Interesting.

I'll mull that one over while I'm walking the dog.

To celebrate Darius and Natasha's happiness, it's got to be Kinda Love.

It may not have been the best lead off single for an album but without it, he might never have met Natasha.

I often wonder if it really would have made a difference which single was released first.

...but that we will never know.

I've been singing 'Only You' all day :D

I think the initial production trick on it was IMHO euphemistically not a great idea at all.......... I'd hate to say dire but it's certainly nearer that end of the spectrum.

Sticking two completely different recorded versions together and slightly out of synch to create a new effect just made it sound as if Darius was out of tune in some places.

I know Mercury quickly replaced the promos but first impressions are the strongest.
