The box has changed. They have 2 charts from what people have been saying. One for most played videos and one for most requested. The two don't match.

I always thought the computer registered the calls and programmed the play list accordingly but it became clear as I watched the Box, that was not what happened at all. There seemed to be something else going on. ......some sort of time gap to prevent the same video being played within a certain period of time maybe or perhaps a need to generate so much in money from calls before a play was sanctioned. I just stopped watching the Box.

 

megham, March is the only month of the year, I don't have kids' birthday presents to buy. I can usually find something appropriate for girls but I find boys over the age of ten never drop hints about what they'd like. I'd much prefer they would say, because I'm always willing to club in with others to get something that's a bit more expensive.

 

Maybe boys are generally more content and really don't mind what they get.

Someone had posted the Tracy Chapman version which Darius had said on PI was the best, so I listened to it and then had to listen to Darius again......and again......and again.

I love the Tracy Chapman version. In my opinion it's the best. I do love Darius' though, just not quite as much. I like 'Fast Car' even more.

 

I do like Darius' voice in this one though - and in 'Secret Song' as well.

 

Still 'Now or Never' for me though.

There are a lot of his songs which to me are just so Darius because they seem to encompass something of the spirit of the man. It even comes through in happy upbeat songs.

 

That's why I don't like Darius trying to describe himself in terms of other artists or feel that he has to keep within certain commercial styles.
