Simple Like The Truth

Stars Crash Down, daughter was insisting on playing it over and over and over in the car, saying its her favourite track on the album and she loves to sing along. I think I will be skipping it for the next few album plays now, lovely as it is.

That's one of my favourite in car singalong tracks too. It's a mini-tonic, like Dive In - no matter how hard I try, I can't be miserable once I've played it.

"Stars Crash Down" is Michael's favourite he loves to sing to it.

The other day he said "Why isnt my voice perfect like Darius's" :D

 

aww, my youngst said Stars is her favourite on Live twice, and commented that she loves how you can understand what darius is singing and that she can sing along to his songs,

"most songs these days havent got words you can understand" she mused - she's all of 7

I like 'Stars crash down' as well.

I haven't listened to it for ages...must make amends.

'Mockingbird' Just how I feel at the moment.

'Freefall' for me - I've just properly listened to it on D's Myspace. I have only perhaps heard it twice before and never really listened!! It was a 'b' side to Rushes, way back in the day when I didn't realise that you could buy more than one version of a single!!! :blush: :lol: Anyway, what an amazing song and brilliant guitar playing - one of my favourite 'b' sides now, I think!!! :D

'Freefall' must be 7 yrs old now. It still sounds good. It wasn't on when I chose 'Mockingbird' for today.

freefall, I love the way you can go back to a Darius song that you havent listened to for years and it is just as good, if not better than you recall.

Freefall - it's jostling for singalong song of the day with "I got a horse right here..."

 

I think Freefall is still winning atm.
