No More trips to Edinburgh. No More chances to watch Darius totally in his element and No More chances of catching up with good friends from the boards...................for now.

The last show of any run always seems so final, but Darius keeps surprising us. I'm not getting off the rollercoaster any time soon.

Let There Be Love - I just love the tone of his voice on it - definitely inflections of Nat.

 

He was so smooth and handsome when he sang it on the tour. The way he spoke to the audience and moved on the stage was so brilliantly in keeping with the Big Band era.

 

Still loving those mmm mmmm.

'Now or Never' - I don't think I'll ever stop loving this one.

Well it's been 'No More' that he's been singing to me today so I'll have to go with that

I can't get Stars Crash Down out of my head today but I don't mind because it's such a happy tune, I'm bouncing around and feeling good.

I liked that one as well. To me, it was a great driving song. 'butterfly Spirit' today but I have no idea why. This one and 'No more' refuse to leave my head.

Butterfly spirit for me. I find the more you listen to it, it sticks big time. Yet it is a song that has not been mentioned a lot.

But yet another we're unlikely to ever hear Darius sing live. He has so many strong songs that are far superior to ones other people put on their albums. He could easily do a full concert set of songs that his staunchest fans have never heard him sing other than on CD. I just know that songs like Butterfly Spirit would be amazing live - another Mercury Rising moment.

'Now or Never' The album would have to be good to beat that one for me.
