Hopefully there's something new on there... Matty confirmed recently that they'd begun work on their sixth album.
July 10, 20232 yr https://truman-black.com/ 2023 somehow marks 10 years since's The 1975's self-titled debut album, and they seem to be marking the occasion with the release of a singles box set. Hopefully there's something new on there... Matty confirmed recently that they'd begun work on their sixth album. Heard rumours a couple of weeks ago they were looking at doing some more outdoor shows in the UK for 2024. The news that they're accidently headlining Reading & Leeds (again) probably tells us what that show is.. the debut album in full and "the very best setlist". They're touring the US again in the autumn so imagine that will be a similar show. Did anyone go to their Finsbury Park show? Was a good atmosphere, slightly strange setlist. But the end of the show definitely felt like "the end of the current era". They noticeably played barely anything from their debut album, so perhaps this was a conscious choice.

Glastonbury headliners for next year is the big rumour currently! The Sun say they’re confirmed, although that’s not the most trustworthy source. I didn’t go to Finsbury but it looked great! They haven’t really played much from their debut album in a while really, it’s usually just Robbers and Sex now.
