I want to hear more Gaelic songs..I would also like to hear a full song in French. I think the usage of Latin in tracks like Cursum Perficio and Pax Deorum is wonderful and that the usage of Loxian in Water Shows the Hidden Heart and Less Than A Pearl is genius. :)

Latin always was my fave as a kid. I think it still is - Cursum Perficio and Tempus Vernum are so amazing. Latin should always be used for a haunting Enya song with a strong, slow rhythm. Gaelic I quite like, but not too keen and I agree that Loxian is outstanding - it must've taken months to piece all that together. :D Whether Loxian is ever touched upon again will be interesting.

I think a Loxian winter song would be pretty, but I don't think the Loxian celebrate Christmas, being from a different planet.

Enya would have to get a very good French teacher if she were to sing in French, otherwise the French critics would hate it. She got enough criticism about the few words she sang in Only If... But it would be cool if she did. B)

I really like the Latin songs. It's fun to sing along to those, especially Tempus Vernum. "Ergo, oceanus, maritimus, opacare, matutino, septentrio..." that's my favourite part. :D Another song in Welsh would be nice too.

I didn't think her French words in Only If.. were that bad. I took French for four years..they need to take into account her accent as well, I think..people sound different when they have one. I'd probably sound quite different to them, too. lol..maybe they would hate how I sound. :hides:
I thought her French was pretty good too, but the French are notorious about laughing at people's accents. I remember the comedian Dave Barry writing about his trip to France as a tourist. It was hilarious how he described his attempt to master French. I don't even want to think about how I would sound with my southern accent.
Bah what do you expect from the French? <_<
Lighten up un the French people, huh? I have relatives living there still, and they are quite happy to correspond with my family here. I'd love to have some of their wine, as well, as these cousins of mine live near Bordeaux, and I'd like to hear a song in French as well, and another in Welsh, too.
I've no problem with the vast majority of them... but traditionally they don't like the British so meh. -_-

   There all sorts of jokes about the French vs. the British. Actually, the French helped the Americans quite a lot during America's early years. It helps to remember that. (Though I think they helped the Americans just to spite the British. :P )

On Your Shore is right, the French language is beautiful even though it is a little harder than most to learn to pronounce. B)

Wouldn't it be funny if Enya sang one in Russian?

I could see Italian or Chinese. After all, she does sing in Latin and Japanese. B)
