I just read somewhere that it isn't humanly possible to sing 4 or more octaves. Most trained opera singers can only sing about 2.5 to 3 octaves.

Untrained singers can usually only manage 1 to 1.5

Celine Dion for example can do between 1.7 and 2.0

It's official stuff :P The average person has an octave of 2. Normally when Anastacia sings she sings with a 3.5 octave but that note in warick is a 4 octave
