After 10 matches, as it stands Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador and Paraguay would qualify for the World Cup and Bolivia would head to the Inter-Continental Play-Offs.

 

We've passed the halfway stage now so we're getting close to seeing our first few teams qualifying. We won't get any in the next window but I reckon Argentina could be there in the March qualifiers.

Ah Venezuela not looking too good now! The points deduction for Ecuador doesn't seem to be doing them too much harm though.

Colombia scored a 96th minute equalizer only for Uruguay to find a winner in the 103rd minute.

The table's really starting to take shape now with the top 6 creating a bit of a gap and Venezuela and Bolivia fighting for the play-off spot. Peru and Chile are looking close to being doomed.

Two thirds into the campaign and, as it stands, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Paraguay would qualify for the World Cup and Bolivia would head to the Inter-Continental Play-Offs.

 

Colombia are on awful form, Ecuador would be 2nd without the points deduction and Chile might have a lifeline.

It's beginning to look like the 6 auto qualifiers are pretty much set in stone and the only real battle is for the playoff spot that Bolivia still holds at the moment, with Venezuela, Chile, and Peru not far behind.

Yep, unfortunately they haven't played exciting football in years. It's getting to the point where I will be actively rooting for the country to hoist the next trophy after how many years it's been for them now. I t feels like a lifetime ago in 2002.
