I've decided to reconfirm, the original entry wasn't quite cutting it

Not really a complaint but I don't think it's ideal (at least for me) that the confirmations period is only a week for a sub genre specific themed contest.

 

It would have been cool to know the theme in advance at least considering how long it's been since the last edition. I'm struggling to think of something inspired to send off the bat, hoping I can get the time to find something still x

It has always been a week for confirmations with two weeks for voting, and we haven't needed to reveal the theme prior to the contest happening before now. Maybe it's something to think about if people genuinely do find that they're struggling. We ourselves only settled on a theme last week.

I always find this type of theme really tough. There's actually loads of trance music that I love but it's also very easy for a song that I think is a great track to not stand out when it's surrounded by similar sounding music. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable set of songs though, hoping that I'll find a few new tracks out of it.

Literally my problem as well. Both themes are my favorite and due to the fact I have so many options in my head I am thinking I'll probably make the wrong decision.

 

I already switched my entry once and I'm this close to switch to something else again lol but I think I'll just stick to the one I reconfirmed!!!

(also when I listened to it I immediately recognised it from Goodwill/Hook N Sling's 'Take You Higher')
