A new one from Bob Vylan is out today! Very instant for me, hopefully it's beginning the rollout of their second album.

Their next album will be their 4th.

And I must admit I expected Territorial Pissings to be the first new release since Price of Life.

Dream Big has felt a little underwhelming for me, both live and on the studio version. The deliberate move to tone down the lyrical content seems a bit too much like compromise regardless of how Bobby has tried to justify it but I don't mind it and get the impression it's an outlier in this respect and not likely to be on the next album.

No idea why ‘We Live Here’ slipped my mind! I assume you’re counting ‘Dread’ as their debut album. At only 15 minutes, isn’t it more of an EP?

Well, whenever they play anything off it Bobby always refers to it as their first album. I figure I'll go with his viewpoint on that.

I see your point though so I looked it up and this is the official charts company definition - 'any record with more than four distinct tracks or with a playing time of more than 25 minutes is classified as an album for sales-chart purposes. If priced as a single, they will not qualify for the main album chart but can appear in the separate Budget Albums chart'

That’s fair.

I found a Facebook post from 2019 with them advertising it as an EP, but perhaps their minds have changed since. Not that it matters really!

New album 'Humble As The Sun' is out on April 5th. 'He's A Man' released in October, while my favourite of the 3 'Hunger Games' came out today:
