Rockers THE KILLERS are crediting British band THE HORRORS for the recent change in their onstage style. The SOMEBODY TOLD ME hitmakers unveiled their new look with the release of second album SAM'S TOWN, but claim their black-clad image isn't born from their own ideas. Frontman BRANDON FLOWERS says, "To be honest with you, the change in what we wear came from us seeing The Horrors on the cover of NME (music magazine.) We're just trying to jump on their bandwagon. "We figured, 'Hey, those guys dress in black all the time and they seem to be getting a lot of press, so...' "We felt we weren't getting quite enough press."

I don't actually like the idea of them copying other bands as it's better for a band to use their own individual ideas imo.

However, it's not a major issue and it doesn't actually bother me.

Yeah, after all, they only kind of got inspired by the image and not the music.

Yes, I've been thinking about that as well... I think they'll change drastically and make each album a completely different era!
They are definitley one of the most interesting bands around when it comes to how they change their sound. :D Lets just hope they don't go too over the top and create a hip-hop album.

 Can you imagine collaborations with The Black Eyed Peas or Chamillionaire?? :kink:

Black Eyed Peas are good imo but a collaboration with them would be ridiculous. Actually BEPs are okay now but they were brilliant in their 'Elephunk,' era. :D

The only way a collaboration with a rap artist could work is if it was for charity, it would be very funny though.

Yeah, but I personally wouldn't like any type of collaboration  Maybe with Britney  Kidding!

A collaboration with Sugababes would be good.

Nah, personally if they were going to collaborate with anyone I think it would be better to be with a band such as Green Day who's genre isn't that dis-similar. The Killers are probably best to leave duets for a while though.
