I Surrender

I Surrender quite easily.

Summer Night City has a huge cheese element in it that makes it appealing but i surrender just feels a much higher quality song.

Please try and make the thread titles more descriptive :kink: I've edited.

I honestly enjoy 'Summer Night City' more, but I have no real desire to go back to either.

I Surrender but both are skips for me, sadly.

Neither, both just seem flat to me, I listened to Summer Night City and spent most of the song thinking, 'why?'

I think it could be an album that will have short replay value and an album steps fans will want for the collection more than for the love of the actual album but who knows some better surprises may come.

Not a big fan of either but between the two I prefer I surrender.

2 of my absolute all time favourite songs, neither of which ever need to be covered by anyone as both are so perfect/perfectly suited to ABBA/Celine's voices.

 

Unfortunately she's oversinging on Summer Night City and Andy sounds comatose. On the other hand I Surrender is too big for her, so neither is very good. I Surrender is marginally better.

I wonder did andy and claire record everything together or completly seperatly.
