This I remember, it was 2001/02 when they had Michael Ballack amongst other in their team. They were runners-up in the German League, German Cup & Champions League. They knocked out three English teams (Arsenal, Liverpool & Man Utd) on the way to the final but Zinedine Zidane's wonder goal beat them in the final.

 

 

Great achievement for Leverkusen and to still be unbeaten in all competitions at this stage of the season is phenomenal. Barcelona president Joan Laporta says he will not rule out taking legal action over Lamine Yamal's 'phantom goal' against Real Madrid.
