Martine McCutcheon was a "hate figure" for Soapstar Superstar contestants by the end of the show's run.

 

The former EastEnders actress annoyed the show's stars with her constant criticism of their performances, with the situation worsening as the series progressed to its grand final.

 

A source told The People: "Martine has become a real hate figure among the contestants. She always had something negative to say whether it was about their singing or their outfits.

 

"After every bitchy comment the contestant would head backstage and slag her off to the others. They just couldn't believe she was being so patronising to them."

 

A spokesman confirmed: "Some contestants have mentioned Martine's comments saying they found her patronising."

 

(I never saw the show but) Do you agree that Martine was a patronising hate figure or not?

I don't think she was that bad tbh, she did criticise a lot but so did all the others.

All of the contestants of this cheap, trash show were awful but the winner of this was before the show even started, so predictable.

how boring, i hate his character in corrie, whining through the Jamie/Frankie storyline and again when violet lost her baby, other than that he's just used as the stereotype 'gay' character, reminds me of a few people in know at uni, axe him for crine out loud!!!!!
