Noel rubbishes Robbie's Rudebox

Tuesday 16th January

http://www.itv.com/uploads/images/1168953389579_0.8317133464513697.jpg

Oasis star Noel Gallagher has savaged Robbie Williams' latest album Rudebox, branding it “dogs**tâ€.

The Wonderwall rocker made the remark just ahead of today's Brit Award nominations, in which Robbie's disc is expected to be widely snubbed.

Noel says, "As he tends to refer himself in the third person, Robbie Williams is obviously a character that he invented and the music he makes is f**king dog s**t.â€

This isn't the first time the Mancunian singer-songwriter has lashed out at the pop star -

he has consistently dismissed the "fat dancer from Take That" for his “prancing†about and general starry behaviour.

But Robbie will not be completely without a trophy to pop on his mantelpiece - an insider at music weekly the NME tells the Mirror that he is veering steadily towards picking up the Worst Album gong at the NME Awards.

The source says, “There are a number of dire contenders, but Robbie is picking up a lot of votes from readers who think his album is a stinker.

“They also believe his dogged attempts to reinvent himself are laughable.â€

As you all know I am a big Oasis fan, but this is getting beyond pathetic. Noel's comments USED to be funny, now he just looks like a pathetic old hasbeen who can't get publicity without mentioning Rob. Rob has moved on ages ago and has'nt slagged Oasis off in years, Noel is nearly 40 and just continues with childish behaviar. I feel very sorry for him. -_-

The day Noel makes an album is adverturous, risky and inventive as Rudebox the day he can talk, untill then he needs to shut the fuck up cause he's looking SO desperate at this stage. <_<

What I find strange is that he detests Robbie's music yet seems to make an effort to listen to his albums.

Robbie's L.A. story doesn't have a Hollywood ending

New York Daily News

http://www.tribuneindia.com/2005/20050605/wd1.jpg

U.K. pop superstar Robbie Williams seems resigned to being just another celebrity on the block since he moved to Los Angeles.

"I haven't been out - I've been Howard Hughes for the last four weeks. This is my big evening," he told us at HBO's pre-Golden Globes party.

When we asked, some time ago at the Grammys, how America was treating him, he replied rather wistfully: "With kid gloves." But at the Globes party, he said he planned to stay in L.A. permanently.

So does he have any advice for fellow Brit David Beckham, who is also moving to town?

"He's far more savvy than me. He should be giving me advice," Williams replied.

I ws in Vegas from Friday to Tuesday...my lay-over to Vegas was in LA and DONTCHA KNOW I was scanning the crowds for Rob, LOLOL!!

I did see Sheryl Crow and I sat beside the host of The E! Channel's Talk Soup on the plane...but no Rob unfortunately. :(

ROBBIE: I AM A RECLUSE

HOME bird Robbie Williams reckons he's like famous recluse Howard Hughes because he goes out so rarely.

The singer moved to the States several years ago but prefers staying in to going out to Hollywood hotspots.

Ex-Take That star Robbie was at a Golden Globes party in LA when he said this was his first night out for a month. He also revealed he was planning to stay in the US for good.

Robbie, 32, said: "I haven't been out. I've been Howard Hughes for the last four weeks.

"This is my big evening."

Robbie has failed to crack the US pop market since moving across the pond  and is said to be trying to break into films instead.

And he reckons footballer David Beckham, who has signed for LA Galaxy, will do much better than him in America.

Robbie said: "He's far more savvy than me. He should be giving me advice."

Billionaire playboy Hughes was a mega-rich industrialist and aviator but his life was crippled by obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The tycoon, who died in 1976, would only talk to his second wife by telephone and eventually became a total recluse.

I don't think I would want to venture out much either for a while if I were him after such a long tour

:o

No Angels

What have the 3AM girls got against Robbie Williams? On Saturday they said branded him a "loser" and said wouldn't be nominated for a major Brit award, even though he's up for best live act.

Then on Tuesday there was more bile heaped upon poor Rob, with a story about how Noel Gallagher hates his new album.

Is it because exclusive pics from his latest video and a recent interview were given to arch-rivals The Sun, rather than The Mirror, Monkey wonders?

Presumably Robbie and his PR Feel they have No Regrets.

At last, someone with a bit of sense. I'm applauding whoever wrote that piece.

And I certainly hope the 3am girls will get to read this. :P

OH.MY.GOD!!!!! :cheer:

Williams 'to strip at Elton's bash'

(Friday January 19, 2007 04:16 PM)

Pop prince Robbie Williams will apparently strip off for Elton John at his 60th birthday bash.

The singer has agreed to recreate a striptease performance from hit film The Full Monty for his pal at the Madison Square Garden celebration in New York, reports the Daily Star.

The special gig on March 25 will culminate in Williams getting his kit off to Tom Jones' You Can Leave Your Hat On.

A source told the paper: "Elton and Robbie have had their disagreements over the years. But they are best pals again now.

"And they always try and outdo each other when it comes to presents.

"Robbie knows this is one gift Elton will have difficulty living up to.

"But the pair love to shock each other so Elton will already be cooking up something bizarre for Robbie's birthday next month."

The Stoke-born singer is well known for taking his kit off - in 2000's Rock DJ the video featured him in a roller-disco as he stripped nude and then proceeded to strip off his own flesh, muscle tissue and organs until he was a dancing skeleton.

VIDEO NASTY

Robbie's bizarre pop therapy

Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley - Daily Mirror

NOEL Gallagher's foulmouthed pop at Robbie Williams hinted that he's lost his marbles - and the Oasis star might be right.

Earlier this week Noel blasted Robbie's music as "f****** dog s***" and said: "As he tends to refer to himself in the third person, Robbie Williams is obviously a character that he's invented."

And Noel seems to have it spot on.

We've had a sneak preview of Robbie's latest video, She's Madonna. And it's the most bizarre thing we have seen yet from the increasingly oddball 32-year-old.

We can reveal that in the video, he tells a psychiatrist about having multiple personalities and refers to himself in the third person. All while wearing a dress, make-up and wig. In the video Robbie declares: "I have got a very clear perception of who I am - I am quite a few people.

They are a great bunch of guys. I can't say which one is my favourite 'cos the others would get jealous." He continues: "It's not easy to separate my private person from my artist persona.

"To start off with I found it hard. I had to live up to the stage persona and that's impossible.

"The stage persona is like me times a hundred. It's like a super shield. You're a superhero when you get up there on stage and then you try to be as interesting or as exciting in real life - and it just never comes off.

"So I had to separate the two 'cos the real me is very shy. Really shy, and, er, a bit backward."

Robbie, who has battled depression, drugs and booze, seems to be using his video as therapy. But then he does have a lot to get off his tattooed chest.

His latest album, Rudebox, was critically panned and its disappointing Christmas sales were blamed for contributing to the sackings of EMI boss Alain Levy and his deputy David Munns.

Robbie is also up for just one gong at this year's Brits. For the first time in 10 years he is not nominated for Best British Male, Best British Album or Best Single - just a conciliatory nomination in the Best Live Act category.

To rub salt into the wound, his old Take That bandmates will be performing at the event at Earls Court on February 14.

Still, Rob is a favourite to get some silverware - Worst Album Of The Year at the NME Awards. Ouch!

Despite these, er, setbacks, Robbie hasn't lost his sense that he's a cut above. In the video he says: "I don't wanna claim that I'm special but I am a bit special, do you know what I mean?" Er, no...

And he says if he could speak to his stage persona he'd say: "You're a good guy, Robbie, you're a good guy. Sing louder, a little bit louder. Good lad, you're a good lad."

OK, you're scaring us now, Rob - and that dress is a fright too!

I am past caring about those 3AM bitches. It's getting so boring now and they are looking soooooooooo pathetic and are getting worse and worse at their job - if that was at all possible.

Is'nt it funny, the way they slag Robbie off for only getting one nomination but don't mention the fact TT only got one as well. No of course not, Yawn

In regards to NME, they praised Rudebox and said "'Rudebox is the best thing he's ever put his name to' and "amazing pop album'

The reviewer at NME just happened to see past the fact it was Robbie and actually give credit where credit is due. It is a brilliantly varied, inventive album and that's why it got 8/10. ^_^

Their readers however and most likely a bunch of extremly small minded Pete Doherty fans who have'nt bloody heard the album but will vote for it was worst of the year cause it is a) Robbie and B} the single Rudebox

Another reason why he should not have called the album the same time IMO.

Robster's got his lad rags on

Suited and booted ... Robbie

I’M glad to see ROBBIE WILLIAMS dressed as a man again — after the scary video pix of him in drag.

He didn’t make a good laydee in the promo for new single She’s Madonna — what with the hairy chest and dodgy make-up.

But here he is in a smart black suit as he went for dinner with pals in Beverly Hills before going clubbing.

Robbie, up for Best Live Act at this year’s Brits, is taking time off after a year that included his Close Encounters world tour, Soccer Aid and new album Rudebox.

She’s Madonna, co-written by the Pet Shop Boys, is out on March 19.

The 3am witches hate Robbie because after Rudebox was released last year he phoned Victoria Newton and asked her to meet him . He then gave her an exclusive interview which ran for days and days in the Sun.

Their tone towards him totally changed after that. They had their noses put right out of joint. <_<

Awww what's with the face  That looks like the face he does in the She's Madonna video when he's performing and gets heckled.

Those pathetic 3am girls, I wish they would shut the f*** up :arrr:

If they take all of Rob's comments from the video seriously it's them who need a psychiatrist.

Robbie Williams falls for American girl

By Stone Martindale Jan 21, 2007, 16:21 GMT

From http://people.monstersandcritics.com/news/...r_American_girl

New York girl meets and falls for Stoke On Trent boy. Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member and star of the recent slasher "Black Christmas" Michelle Trachtenberg is now dating British rocker Robbie Williams, according to the News of the World.

The two have been made by local Los Angeles paparazzi, who are now newly freed up after Posh Spice left the city of Angels to return to London with 2 entire luggage transport carts filled to the tippity-top, loaded with Abercrombie and Fitch goods. (They don't have A&F in England) Posh was spotted several times at separate A&F locations buying them out. See previous "Los Angeles retailers weep with joy" article.

Williams and Trachtenberg were spotted at retail experience Fred Segal on Melrose Boulevard, another retail destination for those visiting L.A. this past week, and blogger Perez Hilton states they "have been quietly seeing each other for a few weeks."

"Robbie really likes Michelle," an unnamed News of the World source close to the pair says. "He especially loves her sense of humor. They're having a great time just hanging out.

As we all know, Robbie doesn't have a high celebrity profile in the States despite many attempts to launch his career over there. So as far as Michelle is concerned, she's just spending time with a normal bloke from a place called Stoke. That's just how Rob likes it."

ROBBIE IS THE VAMPIRE LAYER

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/images/homepage/s5_21_03.jpg

LOOKS like ROBBIE WILLIAMS has found an Angel among demons in the form of MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG.

I can exclusively reveal that the Robster has forged a close friendship with the Buffy The Vampire Slayer star.

The 21-year-old, who plays Buffy's sister Dawn Summers in the monster cult series, has been seen out with the Millennium man, 32, for a few weeks now.

A source close to the pair told me: "Robbie really likes Michelle — he especially loves her sense of humour. They're having a great time just hanging out."

And my snapper caught them doing just that as they stepped out for some shopping at Fred Segal—a posh cosmetics store in the US.

My source added: "As we all know, Robbie doesn't have a high celebrity profile in the States despite many attempts to launch his career over there.

"So as far as Michelle is concerned, she's just spending time with a normal bloke from a place called Stoke. That's just how Rob likes it."

And Robbie has needed a good friend recently.

Last week he learnt that he was only up for one Brit award—Best Live Act.

It's the first time in years that he's not been in the running for Best British Male, Best Album or Best Single, after a decade dominating the awards, which are next month.

But it's little wonder, especially after his stinker of an album Rudebox.

But despite all this, I've been told that Robbie's still got a big smile on his face, which is mainly down to Michelle.

Opps, did'nt realise you just posted it Jup

Different articles and pics though. ^_^

Glad to see he looks happy B)
