THINGS are going from bad to worse for pop oddball Robbie Williams. Not only did he fail to pick up any Brit nominations for his panned album Rudebox, it looks like his French fans are rejecting him, too.

 

Despite winning Best International Male last year, Robbie lost out to Justin Timberlake this time. And his few remaining French fans are fed up after Robbie's failure to show up.

 

The singer, 32, whose dismal album sales are said to have led to the sackings of an EMI boss and his deputy, had been expected to attend. "His face was on all the posters for the show," said one sad fan. Organisers later apologised for the no-show, though it may be just as well he didn't make it - as the audience cheered more loudly for unknown Colombian rocker Juanes than Robbie when the nominations were read.

X FACTOR runner-up RAY QUINN is being lined up to play ROBBIE WILLIAMS in a new TAKE THAT musical planned for London’s West End.

 

The cheeky Scouser — who came second to LEONA LEWIS — was described as “a young Robbie Williams†by SIMON COWELL during the auditions for the reality show.

 

Now it looks like Ray could end up playing the man himself on the stage.

 

Ray — who describes Robbie as “my absolute hero and inspiration†:wub: — is in Los Angeles recording his debut album.

 

But he took time out to tell me: “Take That: The Musical sounds like a great idea. I can’t wait.

 

“What an amazing honour to be asked to play someone who has had so much influence on me over the past few years. Robbie’s album Swing When You’re Winning was great and further convinced me that it was that type of music I loved.

 

“If it’s good enough for Robbie, it’s good enough for me.

 

“Right now I’m concentrating on working on my album, which is coming along brilliantly.

 

“The musical is still in the early planning stages but, provided it goes ahead, it will start towards the end of 2007.â€

 

I think the cheeky Scouser’s got the right qualities to play Robbie.

carierre at all !!!

I seem to remember reading about him being offered a script about a recovering alcoholic. But I'm sure that was a couple of years ago. Maybe it's the same project? :unsure:

Well, cute, but nothing special. ^_^ In news in Serbia newspapers I read also about her. There write that Robbie love her sense of humor.

I don't believe Robbie will play in a movie. I think I would like that, but I just don't believe. -_- He said about thousands times that acting is boring.

:huh: :blink: If it is true, good for him! Though it seems like it has become a trend for singers to act and/or host a show and for the actors and actresses to start a singing career... :wacko: I wouldnt mind seeing him in a film though. ^_^

The Intercontinental home to Robbie Williams when he was staying in Düsseldorf Germany seem to have completely lost top

de luxe hotel standards by likely giving stills of the video surveillance system to tabloids.

 

The angle of the camera leaves no other choice than footage of the security system. The occasional weird behaviour and fear of Robbie Williams that someone was in room without permission was probably correct. He mentioned fears before.

 

The photography that was released in the media was taken from likely the lobby or bar area of the hotel. Some years ago the singer dreamt of being killed every day.

 

The name of a woman involved Robbie Williams seem to have fancied was mentioned, bystanders were not named and probably not informed. Police was informed about this scandal with proof. There were rumours of a 24/7 surveillance of Robbie Williams by his bodyguards.

 

The questions is, are de luxe hotels safe for VIPs and politicians when likely staff is giving pictures to tabloids? That is a question police and hotels will need to answer.

The funny thing with yesterday's article, they slag off Rudebox's so called 'dismal album sales' and say he has few French fans left, while Justin Timberlake takes his crown etc. If they actaully did some bloody research they would soon discover that Rudebox despite only being out since late October has sold a considerable amount more in France than Mr Timerblake's latest album which has been out since September :rolleyes:

FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ has given his blessing for British pop singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS to date his former girlfriend.

Bassist Wentz split from 21-year-old actress MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG last year (06) and press reports have subsequently linked Trachtenberg to the SHE'S THE ONE star.

Although Wentz remains close to his beautiful ex, he's philosophical about her love life and agrees Williams would be a great match.

He says, "I talked to her last night actually. We didn't talk about Robbie Williams, though. I do think it's definitely a possibility.

"I've seen Robbie making his rounds in California. He's a good looking gentleman. So I wouldn't see why anybody wouldn't."
