Oh, I get it now, a thread about Take That from the Pop forums was moved to the new Take That forums, that thread had 633 replies and that's why they have now 1000+ posts in just one day... they're still posting a lot, though.

I'm not sure, lol... I think you have to PM the admins and apply, and when they need a new mod they'll take you into consideration.
