Released in 2016 as the 2nd single of Different World, Alan released a follow-up of his massive first single, titled Sing Me To Sleep. It contained uncredited vocals by Norwegian singer-songwriter Iselin Solheim, who also had a 1-time appearance at BJSC. Despite its predecessor’s success in chart performance, SMTS only spent a week on Top 100, peaking at #95. It was however still a success in several countries, such as Norway (#1), Finland (#4), Austria (#4), Sweden (#9), and Germany (#18). It has also been streamed 362 million times on Spotify, becoming Alan’s 8th most streamed song on the platform, while on YouTube it became the 4th most viewed video on his channel with 702 million views.

, titled Faded. It also contained uncredited vocals by Iselin Solheim. After almost 8 years, this remains Alan’s most successful song and certainly a one-hit wonder in a lot of countries, including US and UK (if only Top 40 songs that were counted). It became #1 in several countries, such as Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and Spain. It also charted in big 4 countries, peaking at #2 in Australia, #7 in UK (also spending 42 weeks on Top 100), #32 in Canada, and #80 in the US. Not only is it a worldwide hit, Faded is definitely one of Buzzjack’s all-time favorite songs. It reached Buzzjack’s 15th Anniversary KO Grand Final, became a 6-time Record of the Decade finalist, and is now battling for a final spot on Buzzjack’s Favorite Song.
