SALES HAVE NOW EXCEEDED 400,000 UNITS. NOBODY KNOWS WILL BE RELEASED HERE ON 14/01/07. (EXPECTED TO GO TOP 10) I know its been mentioned before but i just had to make a thread coz i cant wait for P!nks concert to hit Australia. I havent posted in here before, i have been a fan since she came out but thanks to I'm Not Dead (i think her best album yet!) im having a whole P!nk-mania thing going on. Her album has spent 18 (almost 5 months) in the top 5 of the Australian Charts, all her singles have gone top 5 with Who Knew the most successful going to #2 with shipments of 35,000 copies, the single is still in the Australian singles chart 29 weeks after release and is currently in the top 40 of the chart. The album went to #1 26 weeks after its release and spent 15 consecutive weeks in the top 5 (now a total of 20 weeks) it is currently the #5 album in the country. It was one of the best selling albums of 2006. It has gone platinum 5 times with 350,000 copies shipped and stands a chance of out-selling Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway which went 6 times platinum. Her 5 time platinum success is a rare thing to happen in australia INCLUDING HER 26 DATE TOUR. This has rarely happened before. 26 concerts in one country is a dam good achievement. January 6, 200718 yr I'm Not Dead is actually the 2nd best selling album of 2006 in Australia :) Congrats Pink! I didn't know her australian tour has 21 dates, that's huge!! Australia is too often forgotten in World Tours so It can only be positive for Pink :)
January 7, 200718 yr at was her bst hit in america? Top 5's Lady Marmalade reached #1... but that was a collaboration. Most Girls #4 Get The Party Started #4 Top 10's There You Go #7 Just Like A Pill #8 Don't Let Me Get Me #8 Family Portrait reached #20 and more recently Stupid Girls reached #13... her other singles didn't chart high enough for me to mention unfortunatley :( Still, she is relativley well known there, a lot more than Anastacia is.
