Somehow Jazzy keeps getting hits, despite none of them being vaguely interesting. luckily this one went to acr quite soon, though its still hanging around the chart and jack saunders obsession with playing it weekly doesnt help my liking of it

A tiktok hit that became huge, had a few fans here, i wasnt one of them. found it very boring, i think im one of few who prefer that strange remix of it they played on the chart

'Who Told You' is very meh for me so no surprise to see it's last. 'Giving Me...nothing' was very overrated considering it's chart success. I don't mind similar dance tracks like it but they have to go somewhere and well this didn't. Didn't help that I don't find voice very interesting lol.

 

The other two are a tad better but 'Daylight' did grow off me quick!

THE song of the summer 2023, i like sprinter, its a summery bop. though i dont think it was worthy of being as big as it was! still somehow more people seem to dislike this than some other songs which are much much staler still on the way

Dancing Is Healing that low is a surprise for me. That grew on me quite a bit over the weeks.

Somehow Miley is still going strong in the charts with this, and despite it being stale as stale can be it still has enough fans to put it in the top 5!

Quite the jump there, all songs from #10-#6 were in the negatives and suddenly we jump to 40 positive points for dua! im so glad this got to #1 for her!

FInally, the hit that was destined but never was, became a hit! cruel summer is the perfect summer bop!

#01: Miracle - Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding

And once again, Calvin & Ellie's banger comes out on top! And although its not the song that personally defines my summer (charts wise i'd say either Cruel Summer or Dance The Night) its still a major bop and was still everywhere this summer! and now its only a matter of time till we do the end of year reshuffle here, and i wonder if this'll maintain its streak and coem out on top then too!

I think Miracle is the best out of that list. Still a huge bop and it's played a big part in a trance-adjacent revival which is a very positive impact.

Thanks for running this Conor! I think Miracle is my favourite too although it peaked for me well before the start of summer. The absence of Peggy Gou is a shame but I guess she was 11th or 12th in sales.
