The Carl Barat-led band beat Arctic Monkeys, who get the Number Two position in the end of year chart with 'When The Sun Goes Down'. Kasabian get the Number Three position with 'Empire'. January 2, 200718 yr Is this based on total votes over the year? I think it must be. There was MASSIVE hype about BBYD at the time, even if it was very, very average. If it had been a recent poll then it would have limped in at about 11. Comments? It is a very boring, obvious and teenage-male chart.
