Posted January 2, 200718 yr Its bloody brilliant! and its back, to many peoples surprise - 3 years and 7 days to the day it was first aired. All the favourites are back for the 4th series, although Kev and Veronica leave for a more sunnier setting at the end of episode 1. New coppers, and new Maguires join the show, along with a new baby. Series 1, 2 and 3 with xmas and new year specials are on DVD - if you've never seen the show you can catch up with the Gallaghers before series 4 starts next week. Dont miss it. January 2, 200718 yr I read it on digitalspy and no I think it's 2 more after this series! Great stuff. This series is gonna feature more of other characters and I guess the same for the next 2. I love the family with the scouse Mum. Shes hilarious.

January 2, 200718 yr I adore this programme, and had the 3rd Series DVD for Christmas. Its a shame about Kev and Veronica going, they are ace characters.

January 5, 200718 yr I can't wait and yer they been showing it on E4 after 12:00am i think but i was watching celeb poker on Ftn:p . My fave character has to be Debbie well of the advert i have seen for series 4 anyway. because 'forget her name' says - shall we sell it (the baby i think) debbie goes - what on eBay in a really northern tone sarcasic like where i am from woooo :yahoo: :D :lol:^_^

January 9, 200718 yr Suranne Jones is in this series too .. it just gets better and better! Is there anything she isn't in? I thought she was signed to itv i.e appear in every drama they have at the minute. Ill be watching this. Great show.
January 9, 200718 yr ...just as i expected... a HUGE let down, turning it more towards a soap its lost iits cutting edge hilarity. tonights episode was the worst one ever, it only made me laugh once... the rest was 'same as'... the hallmark of a great comedy is knowing when to stop.... 'the young ones' , 'fawlty towers', knew this ant stopped after 2 seriese... i hope theres no more shameless, or itll be remembered as an over-worked formula. i want to remember shameless for its brilliance in the first 2 seriese... 3 was weak, this could be pretty lame... pity. ps how come 'kev' has gone but is re-incarnated as one of the mcguire clan, hidden behind all that awful hair?
